Privacy Policy

Who we are

MyTruzu ("we", "us") provides reputation-management software for small, independent businesses: pulling reviews from Google, Yelp, and Facebook into one dashboard, drafting reply suggestions, and helping a business ask its own customers for reviews. This policy covers the data we collect through mytruzu.com and the MyTruzu dashboard, both as a data controller for our own customers (the businesses that sign up) and as a data processor for the review and customer data those businesses connect or upload.

What we collect

• Account & business info: your name, email, password (hashed), business name, address, and phone number.
• Review data: reviews and listing details for the Google, Yelp, and Facebook profiles you connect — rating, review text, reviewer display name, and post date. Facebook data is pulled only from a Page you explicitly connect via Facebook Login, using the minimum permissions needed to read that Page's ratings and public details; we never access your personal Facebook profile or friends list.
• Your customer data: names, phone numbers, and/or emails you add to send review requests — you provide this, and it's used only to send the request you configure.
• Billing data: handled directly by Stripe; we store your subscription status and plan, never your full card number.
• Usage data: basic technical logs (IP address, browser) for security and debugging.

How we use it

• To show your reviews in one dashboard and compute your listing health score.
• To draft AI-generated reply and review-request message suggestions — review text and your past reply examples are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) solely to generate that draft, and are not used to train their models.
• To send the alerts and review requests you configure, via our email provider (Resend) and SMS provider (Twilio).
• To process payment via Stripe and keep your subscription in sync.
• To operate, secure, and improve the service.

We do not sell your data or your customers' data to third parties, and we do not use it for advertising.

Facebook Platform data

If you connect a Facebook Page, we store that Page's ID and a Page access token so we can periodically read its public ratings and details on your behalf. This access can be revoked at any time from your Facebook settings (Settings → Business Integrations) or by disconnecting it in MyTruzu, either of which stops all further access immediately.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by emailing support@mytruzu.com from your account's email address, or through the contact form on our homepage. We'll delete your business, review, and customer data — and disconnect any Facebook Page connection — within 30 days, except where we're required to retain billing records for tax or legal purposes.

Data sharing

We share data only with the service providers that make MyTruzu work — Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Twilio (SMS), Anthropic (AI drafting), our hosting provider (Vercel), and our database provider (Neon) — each bound by their own privacy and data-protection terms. We share nothing with data brokers or advertisers.
